Borat's Guide to USA!
Borat is amazing. I first watched his some episodes couple of months back i think and it was a wonderful experience. His innocence after doing absolutely insane stuff or saying audacious stuff is a must see thing and thats why he is becoming more and more popular. Now he has made a mockery of Kazakhastan's international image by all the antic stuff he performed. He makes everyone go wild and crazy but at the cost of Kazakhs impressions on the international scale. If you watch Ali G Shows than you know what sort of stuff he do and what he says about Kazakastan and if you havent watched Ali G than i cant write all those things here :), but finally Kazakhastan Government has seen enough of it and has decided to take some action againts Borat. Below is what reuters has to say on this issue.
ASTANA, Kazakhstan (Reuters) -- Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry threatened legal action Monday against a British comedian who wins laughs by portraying the central Asian state as a country populated by drunks who enjoy cow-punching as a sport. Sacha Baron Cohen, who portrays a spoof Kazakh television presenter Borat in his "Da Ali G Show," has won fame ridiculing Kazakhstan, the world's ninth largest country yet still little known to many in the West, on British and U.S. channels. Cohen appears to have drawn official Kazakh ire after he hosted the annual MTV Europe Music Awards show in Lisbon earlier this month as Borat, who arrived in an Air Kazakh propeller plane controlled by a one-eyed pilot clutching a vodka bottle. "We do not rule out that Mr. Cohen is serving someone's political order designed to present Kazakhstan and its people in a derogatory way," Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Yerzhan Ashykbayev told a news briefing. "We reserve the right to any legal action to prevent new pranks of the kind." He declined to elaborate.

even though he's not exactly my kind of comedy, i have to admit - very funny, this guy. have been watching him on the ali g show for a while now. he totally sold out on the emas, though. wasn't too great, there - but its understandable - since you only have so much time and topics in a place where people only want to see the pretty, famous people :/

didn't get to see but saw yer comments on Aisha's blog.
"However i must say they are pretty damn good in acting and plus marketing it...All these beautiful actresses go through surgery to look drop-dead gorgeous and before that there value is nothing"
Here's a thought - If we could market Arab TV just as aggressive as DH, perhaps we can then induce greater awareness of Islam. Of course all the imams will have to be good lookers!
hee....

You idea is just a thought, can never be implement..:)
Arabs need to get themselves right before they start teaching Islam to others. Just one point will make everything clear, Arab millionaires take small children from Pakistan by deceiting and you konw what they do to them...they use them as a jockey....
The inverse is happening. Some Arab channel shows even more gorgeous womem with pretty controversial stuff for e.g Lebonese TV, dont wanna name the channel.
with regards
