FM's Operation Graduation

The hectic 5 day workshop took place in NED University. The speaker Owais Qidwai gave us working experience regarding Image Processing Using MATLAB. The workshop was extremly usefull as it helped me understand the operations of scaling,zooming in and out, Blurring, Gaussian Filter, Laplacian Filter, Gaussian and Laplacian Smoothing and Enhancement of Image. Since I have worked with Adobe Photoshop, so i knew about their frontside functionality but dint know about their backside working but with that workshop i came to know a lot about it. I think these sort of workshops should take place more and more.

CIS Infinity organized by the Third Year students of Computer and Information Systems Department (C.I.S) of N.E.D University of Engg. and Tech. The competition included the participants of First Year,Second Year, Third Year and Final Year. I was also participating in it with my team including Muhammad Yahya and Sanjeev Kumar. It was our first Programming competition. The competition started right on time. We got 6 problems. We solved 3 of them. We gave our best shot to solve the fourth one but couldnt solve it in time. However the team who won the competition solved 5 questions , the team second solved 4 questions and the third team solved 3 questions . We also solved 3 questions but because we took a lil bit time more we were ranked 4th. So we were 4th in the programming competition which had 12 teams i think. So we were satisfied by our achievement in the end because it was our first programming competition.
