War of the Worlds

I recently watched War of the Worlds. The film was fine, Tom Cruise a great swashbuckling hero, Rachel a cute little girl and the Zombies were just too powerfull. The effects in the movie can make it a one to remember. However here was a man who was determined to save rachel and her brother from the machines and he did that. This gives us a lesson that we should keep our chin's up all the time especially when our backs are on the wall.

Next Film on the menu:
Batman Begins.

Olympics Going to London 2012

Well cant believe it London won after all the time Paris was the most powerfull bid to host the Olympics. London possibly won because they are making everything from the recycled material and plus hosting the olympics in the under developed area of London so that Olympics can turn that area around wholly...that will be great. London definetly will sort out there traffic problem but i am sorry for Paris who have lost their bid third time for the olympics , they had everything ready for 2012. Well better luck next time.

Karachi's Net gone HAYWIRE!

I am writing this post when its 1:21 am in the night, voltage here gettin up and down..and the net which is so slowwwwwwwwww that my msn gets diconnected after a min. and my account loads up in 4-5 mins. The reason is that 2 days back the Submarine Cable which is connecting the whole of Karachi to the world and is the only cable (i.e no backup cable in place ) and which is in deep arabian sea got some problems in it and due to it the whole of Karachis' net gone Haywire. The 1st two days the users couldnt even use the net ..now government has connected Karachi to the world by temporary source and its because of that i m writing the post on the blog but its so slowwwwww that it is useless. However good thing to know is that most of that bandwidth is given to the corporate and IT sector of Karachi so that they dont suffer more now. Today the news sources said it will take 3 or 4 days ..i repeat 3 or 4 days for the Submarine Cable to be repaired and become fully functional. Now i cant wait this long...but what can i do..i have to now. Good news for Karachites is that the Government will put another cable in 6-8 weeks so that whenever anything like this happens , Karachites dont have to suffer.
